2017 Book #3

One Hundred Years of Solitude One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I’ll be honest – I had a really difficult time following this book due to all of the repetitious/similar names through the generations. This seems like one of those books that you need to read through a few times, while writing notes in the margins, to TRULY understand. The individual scenes were good, but the overall weight of the book was lost due to the character confusion and inability to full grasp the timelines.

I have many titles – the most important being mom. My son, Dylan, is my life and joy. He definitely keeps me on my feet! I enjoy math, science, coding, computers in general, using tools (amps my ego, what can I say), reading, and watching what I’d like to call a wide variety of television shows (though they can easily be summed up with “Nerdical Spy-Date” shows).
